Astonishing wooden headdress with inlaid decoration (ebony and boxwood?),with two hearts surrounded by geometric patterns.
Composed of different woods: walnut, cherry, fruitwood and oak.
Small drawer provided for accessories (to slip ribbons, pins ...)
The notches were intended to fix the ribbons (or cords) of the cap.
Brittany or Vendée.
Good condition, original patina.
To note a small lack at the right edge of the drawer (of origin by the presence at this point of a node in the wood that has yielded).
