Former screen with colors inked on a silk background decorated of birds, trees and flowers. Four sheets have been reinstalled edge-to-edge in a large black lacquered wood frame. Far eastern symbolism of composing elements is meaningful. Indeed, blossom prunus is a nature resurrection symbol after winter. Blooming bud peony symbolizes spring, nobility and prosperity. Hummingbirds are usually painted in couple referring to conjugal love.
