Pair of black earthenware torchieres with golden highlights and gilt bronze decor of Restauration’s style. Tripartite base in lion’s paw form and acanthus leaves in gilt bronze in each angle. Each side of the triangular base is decorated with a large palm-leaf ended with two scrolls. Gilt bronze frieze with waterleaves decor separated the column base in piedouche form and supporting the inner cup. The base is finished with three stylized scrolls in earthenware with red highlights decor. The drum column is adorned with a gilt bronze holder with two waterleaves rows and finishing in column middle. Overhead, a golden decor in foliage form with three strips decorates the drum. In the torchieres’ top an inner cup with gilt bronze leaves is situated on the base.
