Artist: Henri Charrier
Henri Charrier (1859-1950), son of the sculptor Pierre-Edouard Charrier, was his pupil as well as that of Joseph Blanc and Jean-Paul Laurens. It was in his workshop that he became friends with Henri Martin and Maxime Maufra. Participates in the Salon of French Artists since 1881. Is one of the founders of the Winter Salon in 1918. Oil on canvas, signed lower left. On the back a label bearing the name of the artist, his address and the title; number 4; a stamp Salon Winter 1930. 50x61 cm. Not framed.
