Henri Charrier (1859-1950), son of the sculptor Pierre-Edouard Charrier, was his pupil as well as that of Joseph Blanc and Jean-Paul Laurens. It was in his workshop that he became friends with Henri Martin and Maxime Maufra. Participates in the Salon of French Artists since 1881. Is one of the founders of the Salon d'Hiver in 1918. Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard, sbg. On the back, old label with the name of the artist, the title and No. 4, and a seal of the Winter Salon of 1942. 46x56 cm framed.
