"Flat European Lacquered Desk"
Flat European lacquered desk Exceptional flat Louis XV style desk in European lacquer Figurant landscapes, stained black wood and engraved and gilded bronze. It opens in belt with three drawers drawing caissons of animated form. It rests on four curved feet ending with acanthus clogs. Top of black leather gilded iron on the edge. Epoque nineteenth executed around 1880. It was made after the office executed by the cabinetmaker Jacques Dubois around 1750, which is currently in the Louvre.
