Charming vegetable-shaped teapot, bell-shaped with serrated edges, loop in water lily root, like the water lily button on lid. The earthenware is very finely and uniformly cracked, it is cream-colored patina by the use of tea, and decorated in red, green, gray blue and gold bamboo, flower bird, and doubly signed, gold , and under cover with seal. Capacity: 5-6 cups. It would have belonged to a person who worked in a consulate in Japan circa 1900 ... Dimensions: 15cm x 18cm.
Correct condition, with a crack on the lid, that does not cross.
