Rare and authentic engraving of the late eighteenth century, work of Louis Le Coeur, dating from 1787. This engraving named Promenade du Jardins du Palais Royal represents Queen Marie Antoinette with her son, the Dauphin Louiis, and his court walk. We can recognize his lady companion Gabrielle Polignac taking care of the dolphin and in the background blue jacket, probably Axel de Fersen. A copy of this extraordinary engraving, historical document is visible in Paris at the Carnavalet museum.
