Rare wax bust depicting Pierre Loti by the famous Pierre Imans house in Paris. This house was specialized in producing wax manequins for exhibitions, department stores. She creates an exceptional work, a wax bust with glass eyes, real hair, mustaches, eyelashes, eyebrows representing the naval officer and writer Pierre Loti (1850-1923) menbre of the French Academy. The wax head rests on a flocked plaster bust in imitation of the flannel of a suit, cardboard shirt collar and cloth jabeau. this bust is worn by a marble footouche.
