Spanish village in watercolor pastel pencil on cardboard. His features are essential, but his mastery is perfect. Painted in the late 40s. Bernardo Ylla. (1916-1994). The Franco-Spanish painter studied painting in Brussels and then in Paris with André Lhote. Back in Spain in 1943, he exhibited all over the country. In 1951, he moved to France in Poitiers and organized exhibitions in Europe. His last exhibition in 1983 will be on Ile de Ré. He lives with Suzanne Favriou, a painter too.
