"Earthenware Plate "
Plate on board bypassed earthenware, camaieu manganese decoration in the center of an allegory depicting "the force blinded by love", an angel sitting on a lion, blindfolded. From an engraving of the seventeenth century. Inscription in Latin "captis oculis, capior" the eyes being taken, I am taken, and under the terrace "by eyes the two" windows "darts of love become mestres".
