Alsatian carved wooden panel, representing a woman with joined hands during the Angelus prayer, with the bell tower of a small village on the side, certainly Schalbach (in Alsace), border decorated with fruits (pears, grapes. ..) and flowers, work of Folk Art XVth-XVIth centuries. This panel is in good condition, it is in its own juice. He was appraised in the 1930s. Here is what is written on the label of the expertise on the back: "Maison Orlhac Paris, January 18, 1930. Sculpted panel, work of a sculptor from the village of Schalbach. the author of "The Way of the Cross of the Church of Schalbach." The Angelus represents a woman standing with hands clasped to pray, next to her stands the steeple of a small country church whose bell is in high, we see it through the bell tower lucrane ".
