"Clock Allegory Photography 1900 "
Marble green onyx clock with a dial painted with flower motifs and gilded metal ornamentation. The clock serves as a base for a young woman, an allegory of photography, who holds a photographic room with a hand in one hand (used late 19th century) , and on the other a trigger in the shape of a pear connected by a cable to the device. This is a creation of the sculptor Ernest RANCOULET (1870-1915). The theme of photography is rare as ornamentation of pendulum, we used rather the representations of the seasons, the arts or the sciences ... G.MEGNIN's Paris eighteenth movement (1890/1900 silver medal) and the ringtone works but has not been revised.POSSIBILITY OF SENDING, neat packaging reinforced, recommended with insurance and parcel number for tracking on the internet (shipping).
