Large pinnule graphometer signed Meurand. Period last quarter eighteenth. Rare by its size of a diameter of 36 cm, this graphometer alidade mobile pinnules is polished brass and signed "Meurand quai de l'horloge in Paris". Platinum carved and engraved with foliage decoration graduated with a double scale at 180 °. Silver compass whose needle can be blocked by a small screw. Socket foot. Original box in mahogany in the shape. Antoine-Joseph MEURAND, famous manufacturer of surveying and mathematical instruments, active between 1750 and 1780. Installed rue du Cloître Saint-Jacques in 1766, rue Saint-Louis in 1769 and Quai de l'Horloge in 1771. Tripod reported in beech with plumb bob. A survey square is attached to the lot.
