large polylobée alabaster cut from the 2nd half of the 19th century. it is entirely carved in highly shaded alabaster, passing from light to dark with beautiful nuances in the veining of the stone. the cup is imposing and is carved with a decoration of strongly marked polylobes whose holdings consist of whole swans with spread wings.
It rests on a hexagonal base.
