"Fireplace Plate Dated 1600"
Plate of chimney dated 1600 with cut sides, coming from the foundry of Cousances-the-Forges (Meuse), melted undoubtedly later, two lions carry a crown in which is breathed the coat of arms crowned of France surmounted by a mask of where there are two horns of plenty. A crack is noted in the center of the plate. Its weight is 74 kg.
