French landscape painter born July 26, 1921 and died June 28, 2005, Roger Quintaine first experienced a first abstract period before definitively devoting himself to the landscape. Outside of Venice and its lagoon, Brittany and the Camargue are its privileged sources of inspiration. A sensitive and prolific artist, he, like Marquet, is committed to restoring the liquid element in all its forms and sign of superb marines as well as endearing views of the Marne. His works appear in museum collections such as the Musée de Nogent-sur-Marne.
