Superb oil on panel 27x35cm out of frame painted double face and signed on each face of the great Russian painter NICOLAS TARKHOFF born in 1871 and died in 1930. The first face represents a funfair in PARIS painted circa 1901/1903 The second face represents a view of the SEINE painted from the roofs of CATHEDRAL NOTRE DAME of PARIS with its arrow in the foreground also around 1901/1903. This double-sided work will be reproduced in the catalog raisonné currently being prepared by the NICOLAS TARKHOFF committee
