Max BUCAILLE (1906-1996) Artist, collagist painter, scientist and French poet. Mathematician Training. Member of the Surrealist Revolutionary Group which will give rise to COBRA and Situationism between 1947 and 1949. Also a member of the College of Pataphysics and founder in 1958 of the magazine and international group Fantasmagie, in the movement of magic realism.
