Paul Louchet has developed a special technique to give his bronzes a marble look (!)

Paul Louchet
Painter, bronzier, carver and sculptor, aquafortist. Student of Harpignies and Paul Lecomte.
He presided over the union chamber of bronze manufacturers. Exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1882 to 1931
He also exhibited at the Universal Exhibition of 1900.
He began by working the technique of carving, his studio located Rue Auber in Paris. Friend of Majorette, Daum and Lalique. As bronzer and sculptor, he exhibited bronzes and Art Nouveau objects in 1900 at the Exposition Universelle.
Works at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris
