Beautiful gilt wood mirror with pediment, regency period. Beautiful original gilding a little used, mercury mirror of origin also, with a significant patina of time (see detail photos), which does not detract from the reflection, but very different from a recent complexion. Note: A few slits at the wood, reinforcement screws at the back to fix the pediment, some missing dorurues retouched with gilding brush, all normal for seniority, and without gravity. Height of the pediment alone: 51 cm Total height: 135 cm
