Between very young in the studio of Louis Simon Lempereur, he made such progress in the art of engraving that he also succeeds in all genres. A few years after being a member of the Academy of Copenhagen, he was approved at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in 1789, then became engraver of the King. Jan Baptisye Weenix was born in Amsterdam in 1621 and died in Haarzullens between 1659 and 1661, is a Dutch painter (United Provinces) of the golden century. He realized imaginary landscapes as well as seascapes, views of water features, portraits, representations of animals and still lifes.
