Maurice de Vlaminck (1876, Paris - 1958, Rueil la Gadelière) In 1900, following his meeting with Derain, Maurice de Vlaminck decided to make painting his job. The landscape, especially the Seine around Paris, is a favorite subject for Vlaminck.
