Pair of large gilt wood corner consoles, Regence style, mid 19th century, to be suspended on the wall in a corner.
Beautiful decoration (arabesques, diamonds background and Satyr mask). The consoles are gilt with fine gold and topped with red silk (Tassinari & Chatel).
Our corners are a rare offer : we usually find such items but they are quite often small sized - about 20cm. Ours are actually very large (56cm high). The last pictures are made to measure the size compared to other objects.
Our pieces are in excellent condition : gilding with fine gold has been cleaned by our gilder. The silk fabric is beautiful and clean.
