Hand-painted canvas door curtain topped with a cotton dyed fringe, this set is weighted with two wooden battens (against the wind), the bottom batten has a hook, which allows to reduce the curtain of half. China early twentieth century. Little used for a beautiful interior wall decoration. State of use with small snags on the lace, insect holes and stain on the underside of the fringe, not visible from the front.
