Typical of the school of The Hague this beautiful interior scene teems with many details made with great dexterity, such as the still life with the blue tablecloth to the left of the painting. Founding member of the Waldorp movement travels to Belgium in France and Germany where he makes portraits and domestic scenes during his trip, bought by the kings of his three countries before knowing the consecration by his navies.
