Beautiful oil on canvas 73x92cm (95 x 115 cm framed) signed CARL HESSMERT - impressionist German painter born in 1869 in FÜRSTENBERG (ODER) and died in BERLIN in 1928 .. This beautiful landscape represents a goose keeper at the pond in front of a field of haystacks. HESSMERT studied from 1892 to 1899 at the Berlin Academy of Arts at EUGEN BRACHT.
