A set of portraits and Miniatures with similar characteristics and certainly of the same hand and signed Boissier are grouped under the identity of the painter André-Claude Boissier (1760-1833). Recently another miniature representing a young woman with the Harp was presented to Drouot (Ader - June 4, 2019) also signed and dated. But in the very interesting article that he devotes to him, Neil Jeffares author of the "Dictionary of pastellist before 1800" published on the internet, suggests that it would rather be a woman artist forgotten for the benefit of André-Claude who left a documented trace.
