Top Apothecary Covered Jar, Cut Glass Nineteenth,

Impressive nineteenth century pharmacy jar, blown and cut glass, with lid and carved wooden base, 56 cm high!
The body of the baluster shaped vase: 33cm x 17cm in diameter.
The jar, with a lens-like pontil, has been cut of flat ribs, one row on the lid, which ends in a cut fretel.
The basement, genuine, fruit wood, is beautifully carved. A beautiful object, presentation vase in the window ....
The condition is good, there is a small interior mark of limestone, and the top edge of the wood base is to rectify, as clearly visible in our photos.
