Impressive nineteenth century pharmacy jar, blown and cut glass, with lid and carved wooden base, 56 cm high!The body of the baluster shaped vase: 33cm x 17cm in diameter.
The jar, with a lens-like pontil, has been cut of flat ribs, one row on the lid, which ends in a cut fretel.
The basement, genuine, fruit wood, is beautifully carved. A beautiful object, presentation vase in the window ....
The condition is good, there is a small interior mark of limestone, and the top edge of the wood base is to rectify, as clearly visible in our photos.
