Large China Bitong Brush Pot Wood Carved Nineteenth Dragon Characters

Large covered brushpot (called Bitong) blackened wood fully carved rich characters (a woman squatting in front of a wise man, two characters dancing with sticks), all in landscapes with lush vegetation (bamboo ...) , lid decorated with a dragon wrapped in foliage, origin China, XIXth century. This pot is in good condition and is of remarkable quality. It is very decorative because of its size. It is presented on a pedestal decorated with branches. A note: slots on the wood, some accidents and small gaps on the sets (especially in the middle of a stick), some small accidents also on the cover, wear time, look at the pictures.
