"Pair Of Miniature Restoration Period"
Miniature portraits of Madame and Monsieur Adolphe Godefroy. They are signed Hippolite Chapon, 1790-after 1838. Painter of the Swiss King in 1817, we find his works in the galleries of the Royal Palace, they are dated 1825 and presented in beautiful blackened wood frames with gilded bronzes and chiseled decoration palemettes and windings. Frame height: 18x16 cm Miniature 8x6,5 cm
