Robert Mogisse was born in 1933 in Saint Just Sauvage in the Marne and made his first drawing at the age of seven. He sells his first paintings during his military service and his passion for painting will not leave him. He moved first to Montmartre and then to the south of France and Sologne. He approaches very varied themes according to his travels, landscapes, marines etc ... He paints with a knife and brush in a generous and colorful way, with attention to detail.
