Washed landscape by Harpignies, famous painter and draftsman of the 19th century (1819-1916) He was one of the veterans of the Barbizon school and considered by Anatole France as the 3Michel-Angel "trees." Lavis signed lower left and dated 98 On the back, sending and dedication signed and dated 1st January 1899.
