"Bassin Earthenware Montpellier 18 Th Century"
Basin faience large fire rectangular shape with cut sides, blue camaieu decor in the style berain. In the center of the decor two angels play the swing in an architectural environment of arcades, on both sides stand two figures with arches and arrows on a pedestal and two sphinges. On the top of the arcades stands a winged monkey surrounded by two flower vases. The bottom is decorated with jewels, gridded reserves, garlands of flowers, masks, ironwork etc. The edge is underlined with a fine lace.
