"Ex Voto Glass"
This is a unique marine votive object. The glass is engraved with a schooner seeming to go straight to a rocky point. Below, the inscription of the person who made this wish and who experienced this shipwreck, "A Marie Merci, André Honfleur, 1884." The iconography is typical of Brittany and Normandy by his wish to Mary and his presence above the ship on the right. To our knowledge this is a unique example of popular art work with a votive dimension. 19th10.1 x 6.5 cm
