"Pique Candle In Carved Wood XVII Century"
Beautiful and large carved wooden candle with slight traces of polychrome, tripod base supported by claws of lions enclosing a globe; the three faces are carved in a medallion of the representation of Christ, a monk and a bishop, the three sides are carved with heads of putti. the barrel with several registers is decorated with acanthus leaves, ovals, row of pearls, foliage and heads of winged cherubs. Good general condition (mounted for electricity) Height: 90 cm Italy XVII century
