"bouquet Girl"

I give you this painting as long as I can still go up to my attic where I installed my "murissoir", a kind of library with paintings where I stored the works of quality, but with an illegible signature, even anonymous in waiting for the serendipity to make me meet his brother in a catalog, a book or an exhibition, allowing me to identify them ... Oh! It happens to me three or four times a year, sometimes on works acquired 30 years ago, sometimes the month before. If a user has a track, I thank him in advance and he knows that it is better to deal with a big lean than a dwarf fat !
Today, I offer you this charming portrait of a little girl with a bouquet that seems to me dating from the immediate post-war period, with an aesthetic close to certain artists like Souverbie, Artemoff or Valentine Prax who, in a touch at once fluid and dealing with contours in clear and impasto is resolutely modern. A signature trace on the bottom right, quite short and with an accent could help put on the track.
Oil on canvas 55 X 38 cm, mounted in a new frame gilded 58 X 40 cm.
