Medici-shaped drageoir, the plain body decorated with marine horses and busts of Bacchus, the handles adorned with rosettes and acanthus leaves, the lid surmonted by an acorn. It rests on a small pedestal decorated with friezes of water leaves and pearls.Made by the Lyon silversmith Jean-Louis GALLIOT between 1819 and 1838, French Restauration period.
