Object description :

"Daum Nancy, Service A Orangeade Art Nouveau Blown Glass & Frosted Decorated Etched With Acid"
BEAUTIFUL ORANGEADE SERVICE in FROZEN DECORATED GLASS WITH ACID SIGNED DAUM # NANCY FRANCE (The signature of a round seal appears under the pitcher and under three glasses only). Around 1930 It consists of a heavy and massive pitcher and seven glasses. Height of glasses: 13,5cm / Max height. Pitcher: 19.5cm / Total weight: 2.972g Very nice old model of the famous Daum House; made around 1930 in blown glass of color; a gradient of greens. The set is embellished with a beautiful decor, said frosted, deeply etched with acid. ** GOOD CONDITION ** (Nevertheless, there are three tiny splinters at the top of three glasses and a tiny shock "little star" with no real effect on the body of the pitcher, almost only visible using the backlight, not perceptible to the touch [ see these subjects the last photo], the object is of course perfectly sealed and its solidity is not altered). Note that small "scales" or égrenures at the upper edge (three glasses are concerned) touch only about 1/3 of the thickness of the glass and therefore can be rectified without necessarily lowering the height. Look at the pictures above!
