These two oils on cardboard 46 X 55 cm approximately represent apparently Mediterranean landscapes (unless they are the Black Sea, which would explain many things) with Goat keepers treated in a modern way for the time (I see them around 1920).
Presented "in their juice", the cartons are curved, the paint covered with a thick yellow varnish that has crystallized in places and has "rubbed". They each have on their backs a label showing a horse sled that plunges into a snowy forest and stamps almost erased: "Exposition ??? Sale of paintings ?????????????? Neuilly for one and the other seems to me in Russian and located Paris ...
