Pair of Chippendale style armchairs in red lacquered wood standing on four legs : cabriole front legs with a decor of cartouche, foliage and shell, claw and ball feet. Sabre back legs ending with simple shoes. Arm support behind the leg line ; S-shape arms with acanthus leaves decor. Openwork fiddle back decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls on the stiles and central splat adorned with openwork heart, scrolls, acanthus leaves, C-crest and cartouche. Seat upolstered with a yellow background oriental style motifs RUBELLI fabric with orange and red tones motifs.
Work realized circa 1880.
