Drawing Of Humor : "the Duel"

I continue to give you some of my fortuitous finds in the boxes where they were buried ...
Here we have a mixed technique, ink, watercolor and colored pencils which was obviously intended to be published in such a humor magazine "The Laughter" or "The Butter Plate" since the printed legend was pasted under the image: "No God! A ball in his hat. And we did not put anything in the pistols! .. »Exclude the witnesses ...
The scene takes place at the end of the XIXe century, probably in a snowy Parisian wood.
Duelists and witnesses (two for each) are in coat and hat.
Image 24.5 X 32 cm, on a sheet 27 X 34 cm, itself glued on a cardboard 32 X 39 cm, under mat 50 X 65 cm.
Clear redness does not interfere with the reading of the drawing.
