(Günther) Erwin Carl Wilhelm Günter (1864-1927) Günther studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. There, his teacher was Olof Jernberg. In Düsseldorf, where he became a member of the Malkasten Artistic Association, he founded a sea painter. He made numerous trips to Europe, from 1890 to the Netherlands, as well as to Egypt and other countries African. From 1891, he was represented at exhibitions at the Munich Glass Palace and from 1893 at the Great Art Exhibition of Berlin. For the German maritime pavilion at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1900, he made large decorative paintings. A beautiful large size image dimensions 113x163cm huge !!!!!
