Four spoons of the same series (length: 14.2 cm)
Two to the same model, a little longer (14.5 cm)
Hallmark for Strasbourg 1750-1789 (13 fleur de lysé, for 13 Lot, ie ~ 812/1000 or IX deniers)
Traces not deciphered goldsmith hallmarks.

Very good quality of the vermeil (worn, as often, at the point of attachment of the spoons).
Weight: 162g
The spoons will be delivered in a posterior box.

The success of the Strasbourg vermeil is due in large part to the lower silver titration used by the Alsatian goldsmiths (who had kept the privilege of working the silver in the German titles, instead of the 958/1000 used in the rest of the kingdom ): the gilding is indeed much better on an alloy a little less rich in silver.
