"Silver Liturgical Burettes, France Eighteenth Century Circa 1762"
Pair of pearl-shaped silver cruets, without handles and lids rest on a circular base. The cruets have a half-round openwork decoration of twisted gadroons, fleur-de-lis. A molding at the base of the neck facilitates the gripping of the burettes. Spout taken on piece. They carry the letters A & V engraved on the inner part of the beak. Work of the XVIII century, probably Reims around 1762. Hallmark Master Goldsmith with initials: IN Height: 12.5 cm Width: 5.9 cm Weight: 214 gr Good condition / traces of repairs and use
