Beautiful bronze Buddha head with great interiority.
The face with the perfect oval is characterized by large almond-shaped open eyes revealing the pupil. The curved arcuate eyebrows extend practically at the level of the temples (thus resuming the classical aesthetics of the Sukhothai school). The parrot beak shaped nose overhangs a large mouth with thin lips, the latter sketching a slight smile. The long pointed ears, with their lobes distended by the weight of the ornaments that the Blessed One used to wear, also bring us back to the aesthetics of Sukhothai. The hairstyle is composed of a multitude of small points and has in its center a large usnisa (cranial protuberance) from which a rasmi (flamed ornament) springs.
We will therefore note on this Buddha's head, a very clear influence of the Sukhothai art as well as the U Thong style.
