"Abstract Sculpture"
Rosette BIR (1926-1993) Rosette Bir studies in the studio of the sculptor Albert Féraud, keeping from his learning only the technical mastery and the entanglement of forms. By aesthetic choice and under the influence of MADI current, active South America, the artist turns to geometry. Rosette Bir uses new materials: polished stainless steel and shiny metal sheets that she skilfully folds like a Japanese "origami". This woman sculptor has regularly exhibited at the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles.
