Charles PONSIN-ANDARAHY (1835 Toulouse - 1885 Toulouse), french school
He was born in Toulouse on March 18, 1835. He studied in Paris where he was a student of François Jouffroy and Alexandre Falguière. He returned to his hometown and remained there throughout his career, considered the leader of the Toulouse school. He exhibited at the Salon of the Society of French Artists from 1865 to 1884. He won a medal of third class in 1876 for "Arab Storyteller". For the Tivolier Hotel he made a carved ensemble of two women surrounding a cartouche bearing the date 1873.
