Pendulum with putti in carved and patinated terracotta. Base and entourage of the finely chiseled gilt bronze movement. Dial movement signed Balthazard in Paris. Signed SAUVAGEAU on the base. Second half of the nineteenth century. Beautiful patina, very good condition without splinters and having no restoration. Louis Sauvageau, pupil of Lequein and Toussaint, regularly exhibited at the Salons from 1848 to 1874.
