"Maison Christofle Art Nouveau Lamp In Silver Bronze"
Christofle house (stamped, stamped and numbered under the base) important piece of form representing a foot of lamp (height 60 cm X 30 cm wide) of Art Nouveau period around 1900 in silvered bronze presenting a naturalistic motive in the taste of l school of Nancy animated vine branches punctuated by sinuous motives. Work of good quality presumed of a possible collaboration between the artist Paul Follot and the master goldsmith as it was for some Art Nouveau creations of the early twentieth century, note a single reference found for an identical model sold in 1998 to Drouot at Coutau -Begarie and expert Jean Marc Maury sold for 2700 $ - Very good condition, light wear silvering, electrifying.
